FPWA Ring
of Horror 3 2006
On Saturday October 21, 2006 FPWA Wrestling presented “RING OF HORROR 3”. The
event was held in the Boys and Girls Club of Pinellas Park, 7790 61st Street N.,
Pinellas Park FL.
Evan Starsmore came out to the ring to thank the fans for their cards and gifts
after his horrific ring accident. Starsmore said he wanted to bring two of his
friends out to meet the fans Dunn and Marcos, the Ring Crew Express! The RCE
said they were proud of Evan and his recovery. So much so they dressed him in
some 80’s ring gear.
(1) Austin Amadeus defeated Suicide.
Before any lockup both men showed off their physiques, getting ooh’s from the
ladies. Amadeus got in an armdrag and posed for the fans but when he turned
around he got armdragged enough times to send him to the floor for some personal
time. However Suicide ended that with a slingshot plancha. When they returned to
the ring, Amadeus raked Suicide’s eyes and went on a rule breaking tear. However
it backfired when Suicide got in some kicks to Amadeus’ mid section. Once again
Amadeus raked the eyes to regain control with a suplex for two. He followed with
two backbreakers but they also got a two count. With the referee’s view blocked,
Amadeus scored a low blow kick and pinned Suicide.
(2) In Match 4 in the Best of 5 Series (Zout leads 2-1) a Body Bag Match,
“Irish Destroyer” Heater defeated “Superfan” Mark Zout as the Gimmick Taker.
Heater demanded a DQ win when Zout choked him to a corner but there are no DQ’s
in this match. The match turned into Heater running for his life from Zout who
was in full Taker mode. Heater managed to get Zout off his feet but he missed
his own Warrior’s Way stomp from the top. Heater survived a boot to the face and
hit a suplex. He went back to work on Zout’s knees with a figure four even
though he couldn’t win via submission. Zout reversed the hold only to have
Heater grab the bottom rope to put pressure on again. Zout escaped and hit a
sidewalk slam before dragging Heater to the body bag. Heater was halfway in when
he got to his feet, only to be clotheslined back to the canvas. Zout had Heater
up for the choke slam but countered into a DDT. However Zout sat up and hit the
chokeslam, however Zout went for a pin not the bag. So he went “old school” to
the top and hit Heater’s arm. Zout went up a second time but got pulled off by
Heater. Heater put on a rear naked choke hold trying to get Zout wore down to go
in the bag. Heater released the hold and went to finish Zout off in the bag. But
when Heater went to zip the bag Zout sat up, got to his feet and hit the
tombstone. Zout went to place Heater in the bag but Austin Amadeus came out and
hit Zout with the Unprettier. But just as the double teaming occurred, Nick Fame
hit the ring and attacked Amadeus. As this went on Heater choked out Zout with
his boot and followed with the TKO. With Amadeus and Fame fighting to the back,
Heater placed Zout in the bag and won the match. After the match Heater took the
house mic and said November 18th Heater and Zout will face off in a Gimmick on
the Pole match.
(3) VinnDetta defeated “Next Level” Jon Davis (w/Amy Vitale) via DQ.
Both men traded the advantage with armdrags and hiptosses but Davis missed an
elbow which allowed VinnDetta to hit an enziguri. David slid to the floor to
confer with Vitale. Davis’ talk seemed to work as an uppercut to VinnDetta’s jaw
led to a choke on the ropes and a slap to VinnDetta’s by Vitale. Davis hit a
legdrop but got two. Davis and Vitale grew tired of what they felt was a slow
count by Ron Henderson and got close to a DQ. VinnDetta escaped a reverse
chinlock, hit a flying head scissor but Davis got to his feet faster and hit a
clothesline. VinnDetta recovered and hit a belly to belly suplex. Both men got
to their feet barely beating the ten count. VinnDetta got on the offensive with
clotheslines but Davis fired back with right hands to the jaw. VinnDetta hit
another suplex for two and looked to end the match but got hit with a
spinebuster but somehow VinnDetta kicked out. Davis dragged VinnDetta to a
corner but got hit with a second rope acecrusher. From the locker room came the
Psychedelics who for some reason attacked VinnDetta causing a DQ. They hit him
with a top rope spike piledriver. Jerome Hendrix told the fans they had a new
attitude, a BAD attitude. James Morrison said they had viewed tapes of previous
FPWA events and said the fans were never on their side. They called out the RCE
to begin the next match.
(4) In “the 70’s VS. 80’s Super Clash,” Ring Crew Express (Dunn and Marcos
w/Evan Starsmore) defeated The Psychedelics (Jerome Hendrix and James Morrison
w/Amy Vitale and Jon Davis)
The RCE were ready and used their double team skills to control the opening
minutes of the match with some unique moves. Dunn got caught on the wrong side
of the ring and was choked out behind referee Richie Rich’s back. The
Psychedelics used their own double team skills to wear down Dunn, with some help
from Davis and Vitale. But nothing could keep Dunn’s shoulders down on the
canvas as the fans, Marcos and Starsmore cheered him on. To be honest the
Psychedelics got a little too cocky for their own good with lackadaisical pin
attempts. Dunn got real close to his corner after his foot met Morrison’s
crotch. It took Dunn hitting Hendrix with a move to get him to his corner to tag
a very well rested Marcos. All four men fought in the ring and the RCE delivered
ten punches before hitting a high five double bulldog. They hit Morrison with a
double team move but Hendrix shoved the referee. As the referee was down Jon
Davis slid in and helped hit the Bad Trip. They got the pin but Ron Henderson
said he saw the interference and order the match be re-started. Richie Rich also
ejected Davis and Vitale from ringside. Before anyone knew what happened the RCE
hit a modified stage dive to win the match.
(5) “Classic” Colt Cabana and Pretty Fly defeated Dagon Briggs and Nick Fame.
After some paper, rock, scissors action Fly was chosen to begin the match for
his team against Briggs. But quickly it became Cabana against the rookie Fame.
Ever not the serious competitor, Cabana toyed with Fame over exaggerating the
pain he was in from a wristlock. It messed with Fame’s head and he released the
hold. A mini square dance broke out between Fame and Cabana which led to a
rollup for two. Cabana stood his ground on two shoulder collision and on the
third he tripped up Fame. Fame got in a counter to a Cabana move but ran right
into a clothesline that made Fame bounce off the mat. Fly tagged in and hit a
pedigree power bomb for two. Cabana and Fly seemed to function well as a team,
wearing down Fame with chops and other interesting moves. Surprisingly they
couldn’t get the pin on the youngster. It hit them in the rear, actually head as
Fame hit Fly with a spinning heel kick which allowed Briggs to tag in. Fame and
Briggs also had good chemistry hitting Fly with some martial arts kicks and
double team moves. Somehow Fly held off defeat and eventually tagged in Cabana
who cleaned house. Briggs saved Fame from a pin after Cabana hit a behind first
run to the corner. The last move of the match came from Cabana who hit Fame with
the dreaded Colt 45.
(6) In the “Multi-Promotional Challenge Match”, “the messiah of the
backbreaker” Roderick Strong defeated Nooie Lee.
This one was hard hitting from the opening bell as Strong and Lee traded
armdrags, hiptosses, slams and monkey flips out of the corners. Strong rolled to
the floor but Lee followed. However Strong caught him in the air and drove his
back into the ring apron. The action finally came back to the ring where Strong
took Lee to the mat and stretched him out Jushin Liger style. Lee escaped but
got hit with a chest chop that echoed throughout the building. Strong went for a
move but Lee hit a leg lariat. Lee went for what looked like a head scissor but
Strong blocked it and sent Lee crashing into a corner. Strong dumped Lee to the
floor and rammed his back into the guard rails. Strong also delivered more of
his devastating chest chops. As lee struggled to his feet Strong gave the fans a
lecture on wrestling. Strong brought Lee back to the rinf and the top rope where
Strong went for a superplex but Lee blocked it, sending Strong to the mat and
hitting a cross body block. Strong got to his feet but Lee moved and drove
Strong into the corner chest first. Both men got to their feet where Strong got
hit with an enziguri and an STO for two. Lee followed with a Blue Thunder
Driver/Falcon’s Arrow for two. Lee slammed Strong and went up top where he got
dropped to the mat after Strong fell on the rope. Strong placed Lee on the
turnbuckle, dropkicked his chest and hit a superplex like move for two. Strong
tossed Lee to a corner and when Lee came out he got a running boot to the jaw.
Somehow Lee kicked out of the pin. Lee got several two count pins on Strong but
Strong raked Lee’s eyes. Lee escaped a move and went up top again this time
hitting a frog splash for two. However it was curtains for Lee as Strong hit a
series of moves that led to what looked like a sitout power bomb.
(7) The 400 Pound Monster” Torcher (w/Arsen) & “the King of Old School” Steve
Corino fought the Cuban Assassin (w/Fantasy) and Seal to a no contest.
This began as Seal and mystery partner versus Assassin and Torcher. However Seal
stalled in bringing out his partner. Assassin said he knew who the mystery
partner was. When Torcher turned to the locker room to see, the Assassin hit him
with the Cuban flag pole. As Seal and Cuban beat down, “the King of Old School”
hit the ring clearing out Seal and Cuban. Things settled down after the bell as
Corino and Torcher adjusted to their unexpected partnership. Torcher was in
trouble as Seal and Cuban worked him over as Corino could only watch from the
corner. Torcher fought back using his size with a clothesline to the corner
before tagging in Corino who hit Cuban with right hands, a bionic elbow and a
backdrop for two. But Cuban maneuvered Corino to his corner where Seal was
waiting. Seal tagged in, hitting a suplex and locking in the cross armbreaker.
Corino tried to shift his weight to escape but Seal let the hold loose and hit a
right hand punch to the jaw. Seal dropped Corino on the top corner and went up
only to be sent down by Corino. Seal countered a backdrop with a forearm to
Corino’s back. Cuban came back in and with some help from Fantasy got in some
illegal choke holds. Seal came in to lock Corino in a bear hug but somehow
couldn’t get a submission. Both men collided mid ring and got to their partners.
All four men brawled on the floor as Fantasy and Arsen fought in the ring.
Eventually the referee called for the bell, calling it a no contest.
(8) FPWA Florida State Champion Aaron Epic defeated Delirious.
As usual the time keeper bell woke Delirious from his slumber, sending chairs
and hats flying into the ring. Epic ran for his life as Delirious chased him
around the ring and back in again. Finally the two men locked up sort of as
Delirious used his skills to out muscle Epic. Delirious also used his head as a
weapon on Epic’s wrist. Epic countered into a wristlock but was countered by
Delirious who backed Epic to the corner by a barbaric yalp from the challenger.
Epic slid to the floor as Delirious chanted for Colt Cabana. Epic finally came
back to the ring and locked in a headlock. But he collided mid ring with
Delirious shoulder first. Epic was not impressed with Delirious’ skill and
challenged him to another collision. Epic tripped up the masked one but got hit
with two armdrags and a trip before sliding to the floor. Delirious slid out and
under the ring as Epic got some air on the floor. When Epic turned around
Delirious yelled right in his face. Epic chased Delirious around but in the ring
Epic got hit with a cross bodyblock for two. Delirious kicked Epic in the middle
of his back but Epic hit the STD. Epic didn’t go for the cover, instead ran his
boot across Delirious’ mask. Epic took Delirious to the mat with an armlock with
a bodylace. Delirious got the ropes in his hands and got a break. Epic hit a
snap suplex and a rude awakening for two. Epic drove Delirious to a corner but
got hit with a drop toe hold to the bottom buckle and Delirious followed with a
running boot to the jaw. Delirious hit a clothesline to the corner that lasted
for about forty seconds, eventually leading Epic out of the corner to a bulldog
headlock for two. Delirious dropped Epic on the mat and after a fan asked for
it; he kicked Epic dead in the face. Delirious went for the Cobra Stretch but
Epic countered into a pin for two. Epic hit a running forearm to the corner but
Delirious fired back with several chops but Epic hit a discus clothesline for
two. Epic put Delirious on the top and went up with him for a super DDT. But
Delirious countered and sent Epic to the ring. Delirious came off as Epic stood
up and splashed his back. Somehow Epic survived this move and hit Delirious with
FWPA owner Ken “Chewy” Ward came to the ring for a special announcement. He told
the fans that after tonight FPWA would be expanding their market by joining with
American Combat Wrestling.
(9) WWE Hall of Fame Inductee, “The Mouth of the South” Jimmy Hart’s
handpicked tag team Modern Day Theory (Preston James and Scott Commodity) became
FPWA Tag Team champions when they defeated “Miami Pound Machine” Rod Steel &
“The Marquee” Bruce Santee (w/ “Supermodel” Amy Love).
Santee and Steel didn’t look intimidated by their opponents and Steel got James
away from his corner with a spinebuster. As Santee and Steel worked over their
opponent they mocked Hart and the megaphone. James tried to fight back but he
was no match for the power of Santee who locked in an abdominal stretch with
some help from Steel. James used some leverage and escaped the hold but couldn’t
tag out as Steel slid in and knocked Commodity to the mat. James traded right
hands with Steel and got a sunset flip pin for two. Santee came in but James hit
an enziguri. This allowed the exhausted James to tag out to Commodity. All four
men fought in the ring but MDT dumped Santee to the floor and went after Steel.
James hit a superplex as Commodity hit a top rope splash but Santee pulled the
referee to the floor. Santee and Steel hit James with The End but Jimmy Hart got
on the apron and called the referee over. Amy Love pulled Hart off and fought
with him. As the referee watched the fight on the floor Commodity used Hart’s
megaphone to deck Steel and get the pinfall win.
On Saturday March 25, 2006 FPWA presented
Desperate Measures!, The event was held in the Boys and Girls Club of Pinellas
Park, 7790 61st Street N., Pinellas Park, FL.FPWA Ken Ward, "Superfan" Mark Zout
and FPWA Heavyweight champion Torcher came out to mark the 2nd anniversary of
FPWA. After thanking the Boys and Girls Club of Pinellas Park, Mr. Ward
announced on the April 29th event FPWA would hold a one night tournament to
crown a new FPWA Cruiserweight champion. Beginning on the May 20th event FPWA
will be streaming their events live PPV style on the internet. (1) The match
between "All American" Ben Hogan and Psychedelics member James Morrison never
finished as it was interrupted by Peter Dragon. Morrison and Hogan were having a
good technical match when Dragon's music hit. Dragon claimed he had purchased
this time slot and ordered the match out of the ring. Dragon told the fans he
was a NYC talent agent here representing his newest clients, Aaron Epic, Sedrick
Strong and Erick Stevens. Dragon told each of them to get on some form of
protein; Epic took the interesting route and opted for peanut butter. After
berating the fans, Stevens took the mic claiming he retired Evan Starsmore.
Strong and Stevens ripped the FPWA Tag Team champions Punk N Disorderly while
Epic bragged about how he was going to bury Dagon Briggs tonight. Dragon took
the mic and said with his legal skills tonight the match would be two of three
falls.
(2) Big Daddy Pimp defeated Killian.
Killian told referee Ron Henderson he should watch Pimp's dirty tactics, so of
course Killian tried to use some of his own. Pimp controlled the match, until he
blocked a kick to the gut and Killian hit an enziguri. Killian proceeded to get
down and dirty, but Pimp wouldn't be defeated. Killian tried pinfalls and
submissions but Pimp wouldn't end the match. Killian's temper began to show and
he began to take risks. Pimp got a burst of energy and took over on Killian as
he began to curse in Gaelic. Pimp ended Killian's evening with his version of
the acecrusher.
"The Best Ever" Sonny Maivia made his way to the ring to present "Heater's Hot
Seat." Maivia took the mic and told the fans that Heater no longer works for
FPWA as he was at the hair clinic trying to regrow his hair. What Maivia didn't
know was the cameraman in the ring was HEATER, who decked Maivia with the
camera. Just when it looked like Maivia was going to be beaten to the ground, "Superfan"
Mark Zout came to the ring. Heater and Zout argued on the mic, especially when
Zout put forth the idea Sonny Maivia should be the referee for the match later
tonight. Reluctantly Heater accepted the offer.
(3) In a match to determine the new number one contender to the FPWA Florida
State championship, Suicide defeated Reckless and Twizted.
Apparently Reckless and Twizted work as a tag team in another promotion, so they
decided to work eliminating Suicide from the match. That alliance dissolved when
Twizted kicked Reckless in the face when he had Suicide pinned. Anytime Suicide
got control, Twizted or Reckless cut him off. All three men went to the floor,
with Reckless and Suicide hitting topes' to their opponents. Once back in the
ring both men had Suicide defeated but somehow he kicked of their pins. Suicide
took out Twizted and then beat Reckless with an Eddie Guerrero Frog Splash.
(4) The Black Knight (w/Lady Luck) defeated Deca.
This was Deca's debut in FPWA and Knight tried to welcome him with a first class
ass kicking. Deca didn't feel the same way and fought back, taking Knight off
his feet and attacking the veteran's knees. Lady Luck took matters into her own
hands and got involved on behalf of her man. Both of them used some questionable
tactics but Deca wasn't done pumping himself up despite chops to the chest and
back from Knight. Knight finished off the youngster with a powerbomb.
(5) The Wrecking Crew (DJ Arnold and Barney Rumble) defeated Fahrenheit 420
(Stash and David Mercury).
By winning the match, the Wrecking Crew can now ask for a shot at any of the
championships in FPWA.To me it looked like 420 tried to bribe referee Ron
Henderson with a dime bag of their finest chiba. Rumble and Mercury came to the
middle of the ring but in the middle of the referee's instructions, Mercury fell
asleep. Rumble pushed Mercury to the mat, but Mercury kicked up and attacked
Rumble. The 420 Boys had full control of the match, and full fan support, until
DJ Arnold maneuvered Stash to the Wrecking Crew side of the ring where Rumble
choked him while Arnold kept Mercury occupied. The Wrecking Crew used the 420
tactics on the 420 Boys, just with some underhanded moves thrown in like trying
to choke out Stash with a chair. Stash tried to toke up several times but
couldn't get a deep enough breath to make a comeback. Stash got a deep enough
breath in and made the tag to Mercury who was fired up from watching his partner
in crime be abused. Just as the 420 Boys had victory in their hands, Rumble hit
Stash with a pump handle facebuster and then the Wrecking Crew hit Stash with a
double team wheel barrel into a top rope bulldog.
(6) "Miami Pound Machine" Rod Steel (w/ "Supermodel" Amy Love) defeated
"Sensational" Jamie Starr.
Never giving up a moment to speak his mind on the microphone, Steel took some
time to speak about how he missed his scheduled title shot at then champion Mark
Zout and then focused on his opponent for the evening. Starr took his turn on
the mic, claming Steel had put the fans to sleep. Starr woke them up when he
kicked Steel right in the back, sending Steel to the floor to confer with Love.
Starr got too close to the ropes and Steel made him pay with a modified hotshot.
Steel went to cover Starr while he was reading a book Love borrowed from a fan.
Steel and Love worked Starr over for several minutes, using some real naughty
moves, but couldn't keep Starr down. Starr fought back with right hand punches
and hit the Unprettier but referee Billy Dalton's count was broken up by Love.
This allowed Steel to pin Starr, with both of his legs on the ropes and Love
holding them firmly in place.
(7) FPWA Tag Team Champions Punk N' Disorderly (Pretty Fly & VinnDetta) defeated
Sedrick Strong & Erick Stevens (w/Peter Dragon.)
After tossing around young fans toys, Stevens and Strong finally got in the
ring. Punk N' Disorderly were ready for their opponents and controlled the match
for several minutes. That was until Strong kicked Fly in the back when he was
near the ropes. Dragon turned out to be more then a good agent and financial
advisor as he aided his clients during the match, behind referee Richie Rich's
back. With the fans solidly behind him, Fly fought off defeat several times
despite the beating Stevens and Strong delivered. Fly finally was able to hit
Stevens with a Russian legsweep and tag out to VinnDetta who was well rested.
All four men were in the ring and had victory in their grasps but Strong
accidentally speared Stevens and Strong accidentally clotheslined Strong. Just
as Stevens went to put away VinnDetta, Evan Starsmore hit the ringside area.
Stevens took his eyes off VinnDetta and went right after Starsmore. With all the
action taking place, Aaron Epic hit the ring and then hit Fly in the head with
the Peanut butter jar. The referee called for the bell and awarded the match to
the champions. This didn't stop Stevens, Strong and Epic who pummeled Starsmore
until James Morrison and a folding chair chased them off.
(8) In a "Special Grudge Match" refereed by the self professed "Referee Best
Ever" Sonny Maivia, "The Irish Destroyer" Heater defeated "Superfan" Mark Zout,
Version 1
After Zout took Heater's hair at the last FPWA event, Heater has been trying to
find a way to gain revenge. Hardy Zout seemed to think Heater was Edge, as the
match began in an exchange of fists. Maivia had his hands full in refereeing
this encounter and did a decent job. Heater took Hardy Zout to the mat,
attacking his legs. Hardy Zout fought back hitting a standing suplex fighting
off leg pains. Heater fired back, countering a Hardy Zout top rope bodyblock and
delivering chops to the back. Both men were punching and kicking each other
around the ring and ended up on their knees punching each other in the head.
Hardy Zout blocked a tornado DDT and hit a Northern Lights suplex. Heater
countered out of the Twist of Fate and hit the Irish version of the F5/TKO. Just
when it looked Heater and Maivia were going to make up, Heater hit Maivia with
an STO. To add insult to injury he laid an American flag over the beaten men.
(9) In a two of three falls match, Aaron Epic (w/Peter Dragon) became FPWA
Florida State Heavyweight champion when he defeated Dagon Briggs (w/Se7en).
With encouragement from Dragon, Epic seemed to be using the FPWA camera crew to
try out as the new spokesperson for Jif Peanut Butter. Perhaps Epic should have
been more concerned with Briggs who was irate about the change in the match.
Briggs went for a quick first fall but Epic countered out of a move and hit the
STD. Like the previous matches, Dragon got involved on his clients behalf
choking Briggs on the ropes. Briggs fought back hitting several clotheslines but
was pinned by Epic with what looked like a hand full of tights. Epic didn't wait
the normal sixty seconds between falls and attacked Briggs. This was a mistake
as Briggs won the second fall as after hitting a modified gutbuster. After being
pinned Epic quickly got to his feet and hit Briggs with an STO. Dragon took
issue with Richie Rich's count on pins and almost got his man disqualified.
Briggs fought out of a Cobra Kai Clutch and both men went over the top rope to
the floor where they traded chest chops and eye gouges. When the action returned
to the ring Epic risked a DQ by trying to choke out Briggs. Epic and Briggs went
for chokeslams and somehow chokeslammed each other. Dragon climbed up and
distracted Richie Rich so Epic could use his jar of peanut butter but Briggs hit
a spear. Just as Briggs hit Epic with the Spook City Clash, Erick Stevens and
Sedrick Strong hit the ring. Briggs punched out everyone but Epic, who recovered
and hit Briggs with an STO to win the match. Afterwards they made Briggs eat
some peanut butter.
(10) In a "NO DQ Match", FPWA Heavyweight champion "400 Lb Monster" Torcher
(w/Arson) defeated "the Marquee" Bruce Santee (formerly Bruce Steele w/
"Supermodel" Amy Love and "Miami Pound Machine" Rod Steel.)
After waiting for Torcher to enter the ring, Santee ripped into the fans that
went to get the last of the food from the concession stand. Normally Santee
manhandles his opponents, but like their last encounter Santee couldn't match
strength with Torcher. So he did the next best thing, he took the match to the
floor where he could get assistance from Love and Steel. It backfired as Arson
did her best to keep Love away from the action that went all over the building.
Once Santee got control of the brawl, Steel and Love took some time to get in
some cardio by using some of the Boys and Girls club's workout equipment.
Torcher fought back and the action made its way near the merchandise table where
Santee used an action figure to punch Torcher in the face. Next Santee smashed a
case of Grizzly's Beef Jerky on Torcher's face. This was followed by a choke out
with a Lex Luger WCW pennant. Santee took one of Torcher's shirts from the
merchandise table and stuffed Love under it, mocking the champion. Arson tried
to get the crowd behind Torcher, so Santee decked her with a forearm. Torcher
and Santee finally re-entered the ring as Steel enjoyed a hot dog. Santee
thought he won the title when he hit the TKO but somehow Torcher kicked out.
Santee asked Steel to hold up a chair against the ropes. However Santee's Irish
whip was reversed and Santee hit the chair. Torcher hit the Darkest Nightmares
Sideslam to retain the title. Santee grabbed the mic and appeared to berate
Steel and Love for costing him the championship, Superstar Billy Graham style.
However Santee had a change of heart and the trio left the ring together.
On Saturday January 28, 2006 FPWA presented
“Salvation”. The event was held in the Boys and Girls Club of Pinellas Park,
7790 61st Street N., Pinellas Park, FL. Before the opening match FWPA Owner Ken
“Chewie” Ward and Pretty Fly took time to acknowledge the winners in the fan’s
year end online polls. The Rookie of the Year went to Suicide, Manager of the
Year went to Arson (accepted by Torcher), Tag Team of the Year went to the
Psychedelics, Match of the Year went to Punk and Disorderly vs the Psychedelics
(from February’s event), the Most Popular Wrestler of the Year went to the
Psychedelics, Most Hated Wrestler of the Year went to Heater and the Most
Instrumental Person of the Year went to Torcher.
(1)In a three way match, Eric “The Gift” Crysis defeated Legion “Freakin”
Cage (w/Gina Marie) and Nooie Lee.
Before the opening bell Crysis and Cage seemed to form a bond and Cage began the
match against Lee. Both men went to work on the others arm and then traded side
headlocks. Crysis took some time to watch from the ring apron as Cage was hit by
an enziguri. Cage slid to the floor and Crysis hit Lee from behind. Crysis beat
down Lee while Cage and Gina Marie spent some quality alone time on the floor.
When Cage re-entered the ring his partnership with Crysis dissolved when Crysis
jumped Cage. Crysis hit Lee with a Northern Lights suplex for two. Lee recovered
and hit Cage with a springboard dropkick for two but Crysis hit him with an STO
for two. Crysis and Cage squared off once again but Cage hit Crysis with an STO.
Cage locked Lee in a neckvise but Lee refused to submit. Cage tossed Lee to the
floor so Gina Marie could get a workout beating him up while Cage and Crysis
exchanged two counts. Crysis came to the floor and Gina Marie hit him with a
summersault tope. Cage went into the ring to pin Lee but Lee hit him with a DDT.
Gina Marie tossed Crysis back into the ring but he kicked out of a Cage pin
attempt. Crysis hit Lee with a top rope elbow drop but got two. The three men
began trying to defeat the other with moves but none were successful. Cage held
Lee so Crysis could superkick him but Lee moved and Crysis superkick hit Cage.
Crysis seized the opportunity and pinned Cage.
(2) Seal defeated “All American” Ben Hogan.
Seal took the house mic and told the fans despite being retired he liked to come
back and check out the new crop of talent in FPWA. Seal took predictions from
the fans as to how long the match would take. One fan yelled out two minutes.
Hogan felt otherwise and hit Seal with several armdrags which sent Seal to the
floor to regroup. Seal re-entered, thanks to Hogan slingshotting him back into
the ring. Hogan went to work on Seal’s left arm and refused to let go despite
any trick Seal used to escape. Seal escaped when he sent Hogan over the top rope
to the floor. Seal grabbed a chair and sat Hogan in it, before chopping him in
the chest. When the action returned to the ring, Seal used every dirty veteran
trick to try and beat the younger Hogan. However Hogan fought back with a suplex
only to be hit with a jaw rattling clothesline. Hogan fought back once more,
hitting a running elbow but ran right into a boot from Seal. The match appeared
to be over when Seal hit the Blockbuster but somehow Hogan kicked out. Seal went
to the second rope and timed out another Blockbuster but once again Hogan kicked
out. Seal questioned referee Billy Dalton’s count as Hogan snuck up behind Seal.
However Seal hit a German suplex. Seal hit Hogan with a sitout Razor’s Edge but
once again Hogan kicked out. By now the crowd was solidly behind Hogan who
needed them to try and mount a comeback. It didn’t happen as Seal hit another
sitout Razor’s Edge to win the match. Seal wasn’t done as he pulled out martial
arts weapons which he used on Hogan and two FPWA security members who tried to
aid Hogan. The fun stopped when FPWA Heavyweight champion Torcher (w/flame
thrower) ran off Seal.
(3) In a New Year’s Resolution match (winner chooses which FPWA title to
challenge for), Aaron Epic defeated Sideshow and David Mercury.
Having wrestled each other around the state, everyone knew everyone’s strengths
and weaknesses (if any were present.) The action was quick and went on in and
outside the ring when each hit the other with topes to the floor. Epic thought
he had the match won when he hit Sideshow with the STD but Sideshow kicked out.
Mercury hit Sideshow with an enziguri and Sideshow hit Mercury with a leg
lariat. Just when Sideshow thought he had the match won, Epic hit him with a
suplex to win the match.
(4) FPWA Tag Team champions Punk & Disorderly (Pretty Fly and VinnDetta)
defeated the Psychedelics (Morrison and Hendrix)
The Psychedelics didn’t like the way they lost the titles (see the new
www.fpwawrestling.com for details) so they invoked their mandatory rematch
clause. The fans were split down the middle as to who to cheer for. Morrison and
VinnDetta traded several quick two count pin attempts. Next the two men began a
chest chopping contest followed by kicking each other in the back full tilt
boogie. Morrison hit VinnDetta with a drop toe hold and several moved which were
returned in kind by VinnDetta. Fly entered the match and hit Morrison with a
dropkick for two followed by the dreaded Twist of Feet. Fly dropped his head too
soon and Morrison kicked him in the jaw. Hendrix tagged in to face off with Fly.
Fly hit an inverted atomic drop while Hendrix hit a powerslam and a standing
suplex. The Psychedelics went to work on Fly’s back and succeeded in wearing him
down but Fly somehow recovered to hit a knee drop to Morrison’s head. Morrison
hit a snap suplex and tagged out to Hendrix. The Psychedelics took some
advantage of Richie Rich’s five count and stretched the rules a bit. Fly finally
tagged out to VinnDetta who hit Hendrix with a Perfectplex for two. Punk and
Disorderly finally got the momentum in their favor and took their time beating
down Hendrix. Hendrix fought back hitting VinnDetta with a flying head scissor
but VinnDetta quickly hit an STO. Hendrix fought off defeat several times and
finally tagged out to a well rested Morrison. Morrison hit VinnDetta with
several suplexes and the double team Hart Attack but couldn’t get the pin.
Hendrix hit a Davey Boy Smith powerslam and Morrison hit a second rope legdrop
but VinnDetta countered a piledriver to hit a modified fisherman buster. Both
men tagged out to their partners and mayhem ensued. When the proverbial dust
settled the champions retained the belts when they hit Morrison with the Mosh
Pit followed by two superkicks. After the match Morrison told the fans they
witnessed history as it was the first time the Psychedelics lost in FPWA and
didn’t hold the titles. He handed the belts to the champions and left them to
enjoy their victory.
(5) DJ Arnold defeated the Black Knight (w/Lady Luck)
Arnold and Knight took the fight to each other at the opening bell. Arnold hit
Knight with two clotheslines and an elbow to the chest but got two. Knight poked
Arnold in the eyes and went to work on Arnold with several borderline legal
moves. Arnold got some breathing room by hitting a superkick to Knight’s jaw.
Knight repaid Arnold with a knee to the stomach and a knee across his throat.
Lady Luck got involved, choking Arnold as he was lying on the second rope.
Knight hit Arnold with several punches however on one follow through his elbow
hit referee Billy Dalton in the jaw. Lady Luck got on the apron and held the
Knight’s shield. However Knight’s head met the shield and Arnold scored the
victory.
(6) In a “Makeover from Hell” Match (the winner gets to perform a beauty
makeover on the loser), “Country Girl” Lorelei Lee defeated “Supermodel” Amy
Love (w/Bruce Steele).
Before the match Steele called Lee an “oopmah loopah” and told the fans Amy Love
would be victorious tonight. Needless to say Lee came to the ring fired up and
hit Love with several moves. Lee had control until she went to the ropes and
Steele grabbed Lee’s legs. Referee Ron Henderson felt Steele was not going to
stay out of the match and ejected Steele from ringside. Realizing she was going
to have to win on her own skills, Love went on the attack only to have Lee hit a
mid-ring handspring elbow. Love recovered from the move and went back on the
attack hitting a Rude Awakening for two. Love went to hit Lee with a double
underhook suplex but Lee countered into a backslide to win the match. As soon as
the pin occurred, Bruce Steele hit the ring and jumped Lee. Steele and Love
opened the makeup case the referee was holding and tried to makeover Lee. Punk
and Disorderly hit the ring to save Lee.
(7) The match between FPWA Florida State Champion Dagon Briggs and Suicide
became a tag team match in which Aaron Epic and Erick Stevens defeated Briggs
and Suicide.
Suicide and Briggs hit each other with several chain wrestling moves when the
music table played Aaron Epic’s music. He was joined by Erick Stevens who
proclaimed he was the best wrestler the FPWA fans would see tonight. Epic told
the fans since he won the match earlier this evening he wanted a Bodybag match
with Dagon Briggs for the title (at a date to be determined.) Stevens and Epic
hit the ring, making this a tag team match. Briggs and Suicide were stunned by
what had transpired and quickly sent Stevens and Epic to the floor. Epic entered
the ring and Briggs and Suicide took turns beating down Epic until Epic didn’t
go down from a Suicide clothesline. Stevens tagged in and Suicide cut him down
to size with a kick to Stevens’ knee. Suicide hit a springboard leg lariat but
his second attempt resulted in Stevens hitting him with a fallaway slam. Epic
and Stevens made several tags and pushed Suicide to the limits of his pain
threshold. Somehow the FPWA Rookie of the Year kept fighting off defeat. Suicide
countered out of a tilt a while slam to hit a head scissor. Stevens scooped up
Suicide but Suicide dropkicked Epic and hit Stevens with a tornado DDT. Suicide
tagged Briggs and all hell broke loose. The match ended when Briggs went to
suplex Epic from the ring apron. Stevens tripped up Briggs and Epic fell on top
of Briggs. Stevens held onto Briggs’ ankle as Epic got the pinfall victory.
(8) In a Hair vs. Hair Match, “Superfan” Mark Zout (as Brutus “the Barber”
Beefcake) defeated “Neon Nightmare” Heater (w/Entourage member Wolf).
Heater didn’t seem intimidated by the hedge clippers Beefcake Zout brought to
the ring. Heater spent several minutes trying to wear down Beefcake Zout’s back.
Zout fought of a corner exchange with an elbow to Heater’s jaw and a
clothesline. Heater recovered and with some help from Wolf’s neck chain, choked
out Beefcake Zout. The action went to the floor as Heater and Wolf set Beefcake
Zout on the chair to cut hair on. FPWA Heavyweight champion Torcher came out to
make sure the match was fair and square. So he hit Wolf with several chair shots
to the back. Beefcake Zout brought Heater back to the ring and hit several
suplexes. With Torcher and the fans solidly behind him, Beefcake Zout got a
second or third wind. Beefcake Zout escaped an attempted TKO into a sleeper but
their momentum drove them right into referee Billy Dalton. Wolf hit Beefcake
Zout in the back with the hedge clippers. Torcher had enough and hit Wolf with a
stun gun. Torcher entered the ring and placed Beefcake Zout on top of Heater to
gain the win. After the match Torcher handcuffed Heater to the folding chair.
Beefcake Zout took his time and proceeded to buzz off some of Heater’s hair.
(9) FPWA Heavyweight champion “400lb Monster” Torcher (w/Arson) defeated
Bruce Steele (w/”Supermodel” Amy Love).
Before the match Steele yelled at all the parents in the fans for allowing their
kids to be up at this time of night (9:41pm to be exact.) Steele told the fans
they didn’t deserve to see his talent in the ring tonight. After posing for the
fans the match began. Despite being 280 pounds, Steele was no match for
Torcher’s strength in the opening minutes of the contest. Steele took a “time
out” and drank an energy drink, some of which ended up being poured on Arson’s
head. Steele re-entered the ring and got the champion off his feet. Steele used
everything in his arsenal to keep Torcher on the mat, even using chokes. Steele
locked in a reverse chinlock. Torcher fought to his feet only to be sent back to
the mat by Steele and a hand full of hair. Steele hit an STO but Torcher kicked
out at two. Torcher hit Steele with right hand punches followed by a modified
sideslam. Arson and the fans cheered loud to try and reenergize the champion.
Both men traded right hand punches but Torcher hit Steele with a clothesline and
a backdrop. Torcher hit a splash to the corner but Steele fought out of a move
and kicked Torcher in the mouth. Steele went to the second rope and hit a
Blockbuster but Torcher kicked out at two and one half. Steele avoided another
Torcher splash and hit a lariat. Torcher hit Steele with a chokeslam but Love
broke up the count by distracting referee Ron Henderson. Love slid a chair into
the ring and Steele hit Torcher with the chair. The problem was the referee saw
it and called for the bell. Steele wasn’t done as he hit Arson with the Big
Dump.
Former WWE star Leapin' Lanny Poffo was on hand
for autographs, conversations with fans about his two books and some in ring
poetry readings.
(1) Suicide and Evan Starsmore defeated Aaron Epic and Erick Stevens.
Stevens wasn't too happy to see the fans cheering for Suicide, so he tried to
chest chop him into the next town. Epic got into the action but Stevens felt the
brunt of Suicide's dropkicks and other flying moves. The duo retreated to the
floor to reorganize a new attack plan. Too bad Starsmore wasn't part of the plan
as he and Suicide double teamed Stevens until Stevens hit a Powerslam that got a
two count. Stevens attacked Starsmore with suplexes, one that saw Starsmore held
in the air for 20 seconds. Epic didn't let Stevens have all the fun and hit
Starsmore with kicks and chops to the back. Stevens and Epic tried to wear
Starsmore down but neither got the pin. Starsmore fought back enough times to
finally tag out to Suicide after hitting Stevens with a tornado DDT. Epics'
Cobra Kei hat didn't help him out in the ring. Suicide hit Stevens with a top
rope frog splash but Epic sent him to the floor. Stevens went to pin Starsmore
but Suicide came off the top rope with a cross body block to get the win.
Stevens and Epic weren't satisfied and beat the winners all around the ringside
area.
(2) In a three way dance, “Country Girl” Lorelei Lee defeated Amy Action and
Bliss.
Bliss and Action are two ladies from Australia that are touring the world. Both
had their eyes set on beating down Lee. However when one went for the pin the
other broke it up and the fighting resumed. Action bodyslammed Bliss but as the
slam occurred Bliss leg dropped Lee. Lee got back in the match working on
Action's arm but Bliss kicked Lee in the back. Bliss went to lock Lee in an
Indian deathlock but Lee made it to the ropes. Instead she got Lee into a Boston
crab as Action slapped on a chinlock. Lee fought back hitting both women with a
handspring elbow to the corner. Lee was sent to the floor and Action hit Bliss
with a pump handle slam. She went for second one but Bliss countered into a pin
for two. Action went to hit Bliss with a cross body block but Bliss ducked and
Action went to the floor. As Bliss mocked Action, Lee slipped in from behind and
school boy rolled her to win.
(3) The Powers of Pat (Pat Powers and Pat McGroin) defeated James Morrison
and Havok.
This was supposed to have seen the Pats take on Morrison and Donnie York but
Morrison told the ring announcer that York wasn't here and he was going it
alone. McGroin took time to talk trash to the retired Havok who came to the show
as a fan. Morrison held his own early on hitting McGroin with the nipple
twister. Powers got involved and the double teaming began. Havok could take no
more and he joined the match as Morrison's partner. Powers protested Havok's
involvement in the bout but referee Jim Bragg said the match would continue. The
Pats took advantage of the situation and focused their attack on Havok. Havok
fought back and tagged out to Morrison who went to work on Powers' arm. Powers
muscled Morrison to his corner and laid in some severe chest chops. Havok tried
to help his partner but it only brought the referee to his corner and allowed
the Pats to double team Morrison. Morrison survived the onslaught and tagged
Havok who Powers promptly poked in the eyes. The Pats took control of the match
wearing down Havok with elbows, chokes and anything else they could think of
before a disqualification could occur. However the Pats missed a double team
corner move and Havok tagged out to Morrison. McGroin and Havok fought on the
floor as Morrison hit Powers with chops and forearms. Morrison went to the ropes
but McGroin hit him in the back and Powers hit a Canadian legsweep to win the
match.
(4) In a “No Rules, No Limits, Anything Goes Match,” Sideshow (w\Ana Mosity)
defeated Pretty Fly.
Fly came ready to fight but the hardcore veteran Sideshow was also ready. He
used chairs and Ana Mosity as weapons. Fly brought a garbage can of goodies into
the ring. Sideshow knocked Fly to the mat and used a computer keyboard on Fly's
head. Sideshow went for a Bronco Buster but fly moved and then hit Sideshow in
the head with a trashcan. Sideshow went for a sunset flip but Fly blocked it
with a trash can lid shot. Sideshow recovered and hit Fly with several
neckbreakers but got only two. Fly got a chair and went for the Raven drop toe
hold but Sideshow avoided it and threw the chair right into Fly's head. Fly fell
to the floor a bloody mess and Sideshow followed him out. The action came back
to the ring and Sideshow went up top. Fly dropped Sideshow onto the top buckle
and placed a garbage can on Sideshow's head. Fly dropped Sideshow down and hit
an Otani kick to the can, busting Sideshow's head open. Fly used a pool cue on
Sideshow's groin. Sideshow went for the Double Penetration but Fly countered
into a sunset flip for two. Fly hit a DVD but Ana broke up the pin. Fly got to
his feet and hit Sideshow with a chair before going under the ring for a table,
which he brought into the ring. Sideshow countered the corner whip and hit a
back suplex for two. Sideshow used the trash can on Fly's head before dragging
the table to the floor. Sideshow went to take Fly to the ring apron but Fly had
recovered and went for a piledriver into the table. Sideshow countered out and
hit the Double Penetration into the table for the blood soaked win. Before
Sideshow could do any further damage to Fly, Vindetta came out to his partner's
aid. He was joined by Jerome Hendrix and James Morrison.
(5) AWF Austral-Asian champion Dean Draven defeated “Latin Sensation” Ricky
Romeo.
Ever the ladies man, Romeo brought white roses and handed them to the lovely
ladies around ringside. Romeo taunted Draven's dance skills before locking up
and hitting the champion with several armdrags. Draven bailed to the floor and
when he came back he hit some below the belt shots and went for a crucifix but
Romeo countered out. Romeo felt it wasn't sexy and fired back with some chops
and a backdrop. Romeo continued the offense but Draven blocked the top rope
double ax handle and hit Romeo with a T-Bone suplex. Draven took to the mat with
an octopus like submission but didn't get Romeo to tap out. Draven hit a
powerdrive elbow for two. Romeo countered an Irish whip and hit Draven with a
shoulder tackle. Draven got to his feet first and hit a DDT. Draven went up top
but missed his flying headbutt. Romeo looked like he had the title won after
hitting the Spinebuster but referee Billy Dalton said it was two. Romeo hit a
second Spinebuster but Draven kicked out again before three. Romeo began to get
frustrated and hit some chops but missed a corner splash as Draven got his boots
up into Romeo's chest. This allowed Draven to hit another T-Bone suplex, this
time he got the win.
(6) FPWA Tag Team champion Jerome Hendrix of the Psychedelics defeated the
Black Knight (w\Lady Luck).
Despite wrestling earlier in the evening, James Morrison's recurring knee injury
made him unable to compete. FPWA officials decided to allow Hendrix to defend
the titles in a singles match. Hendrix was in control until Knight got in a
cheap shot and tossed Hendrix to the floor. This allowed Lady Luck to choke
Hendrix with her riding crop and Knight distracted referee Richie Rich. Knight
came out to get Hendrix but Hendrix fired in some chops and punches. Both men
made it back in the ring before being counted out. Hendrix hit an elbow for a
two count. Knight fought back and hit suplex for two. Knight kept trying to pin
Hendrix but didn't get the victory and confronted the referee about his count.
Knight took Hendrix to the mat and locked in an armbar/body scissor submission.
Morrison came out of the locker room to cheer his partner on and stop Lady Luck
from interfering any further. Knight saw this happen and took his eyes off
Hendrix. Hendrix recovered from the beating and school boy rolled Knight for the
victory.
(7) In a “submissions match,” WiKid (w\Ana Mosity) defeated VinnDetta.
Early on each man tried to wear the other down instead of going right for the
submission. WiKid took the action to floor and hit VinnDetta with forearms and
punches to the face. WiKid returned to the ring and went for a second rope but
VinnDetta avoided the contact and locked in an armbar. WiKid didn't submit and
made it to the ropes. VinnDetta kept on the offensive but WiKid stopped that
with a Russian legsweep. WiKid hit a backbreaker and tried for a submission but
released it when VinnDetta refused to submit. WiKid hit a leg lariat before
locking in a modified surfboard but once again VinnDetta refused to submit.
WiKid went up top again but VinnDetta stopped him and locked in a tree of woe
with a choke but the referee refused to ask for a submission. VinnDetta
snapmared WiKid to the middle of the ring and locked in a neckvise then switched
to a chinlock but WiKid's fought to his feet, only to be hit with an enziguri.
VinnDetta went to the top but WiKid saw him and ran to the other side of the
ring. Once WiKid entered the ring he was hit with several rolling neckbreakers
before VinnDetta locked in another neckvise. VinnDetta went for a tilt-a-whirl
backbreaker but WiKid countered out and locked in an armbar. When VinnDetta
refused to submit, WiKid tossed VinnDetta to the floor so Ana Mosity could get
in some free shots. VinnDetta re-entered the ring and WiKid continued the attack
on the neck. When the submission didn't come, WiKid tried for one with a
sharpshooter but VinnDetta countered into one of his own. WiKid countered back
into his sharpshooter but VinnDetta kicked out. WiKid was sent right into the
referee. VinnDetta locked in the Crippler Crossface but the referee was knocked
out. This allowed Sideshow to come out and break up the hold. Sideshow and WiKid
went under the ring and found a folding table. They set it up in the ring and
placed VinnDetta on it. They ascended to the top and WiKid hit a legdrop as
Sideshow hit a Frogsplash. After clearing the ring of the evidence, WiKid locked
in the sharpshooter as Sideshow revived the referee who then rang the bell.
Before the duo could damage VinnDetta any further, Pretty Fly came out to save
his partner. Fly got on the mic and challenged Sideshow and WiKid to a tables
match at the October 22nd event, Ring of Horror II.
(8) In a handicap match, The Entourage (Heater, Killian & 'The Best Ever' Sonny
Maivia) defeated “The 400 Pound Monster” Torcher (w\Arson).
After being “properly introduced” by Maivia, Heater took the mic to proclaim
tonight he was going to bury Torcher once and for all. Maivia tested Torcher
first but didn't fair well as Torcher tossed him around the ring. Killian tagged
in but he too was tossed to the corners. Heater decided to tag in and talk with
his fists and boots. Somehow Heater backed Torcher into a corner and delivered
kicks but Torcher muscled his way out. Heater got Torcher to his side of the
ring and Maivia hit a dropkick as Heater tripped up Torcher. All three men got
tagged in and delivered hard hitting moves as well as some chokes, but they
couldn't keep Torcher down on the mat. Maivia went for a Samoan drop but
couldn't get Torcher up. So Torcher bodyslammed him and hit a legdrop for two.
Torcher hit a swinging STO for two but as he kicked out of a pin, Maivia raked
Torcher's eyes and got a quick two count. Killian tagged in and locked in a
chinlock. The trio thought they had a victory but Torcher hit Heater with a
running Powerslam for two. Arson saw enough and got on the apron to cheer on her
man. This did more harm then good as the referee told her to get down the
Entourage choked Torcher down to the mat. Apparently referee Richie Rich allowed
Arson to become a participant in the match when she tagged Torcher. Arson
unleashed punches on Maivia but behind the referee back Killian grabbed
Torcher's fire tool and hit him in the face. Maivia fought back countering an
Irish whip and hitting clothesline. As Maivia and Arson fought on their way to
the locker room, Killian hit Torcher again with the fire tool and anything else
he could to keep Torcher on the mat. Heater hit a DDT and went up top, hitting a
legdrop to win the match. After the bell Heater used the shovel on Torcher's
face as Maivia came back to the ring carrying the unconscious Arson on his
shoulders. Before any further damage could come to Torcher or Arson, “Superfan”
Mark Zout hit the ring and chasing off the Entourage.
(9) FPWA Florida State Champion Dagon Briggs (w\Se7en) defeated Stash.
At the bell Briggs to the action to the challenger with hard hitting shots which
sent Stash to the floor to regroup. Stash returned to the ring and took it to
the champion, gaining control by avoiding a cross bodyblock and Briggs was sent
to the floor. Stash took some cheapshots and sent Briggs back to the ring. Stash
laid in some kicks and chops before locking in a chinlock. Briggs fought to his
feet but Stash tripped him up, sending Briggs back to the mat. Stash went back
to the chinlock and again Briggs fought to his feet but this time Stash raked
the eyes. Briggs wasn't blind long as he hit Stash with an acrcrusher for two.
Stash recovered and went up top but as he came off Briggs kicked him in the
stomach. Both men fell to the mat and barely made it to their feet before the
ten count. Briggs got in some punches but Stash hit the Perfectplex for two.
Briggs got an opening and went up top but missed a legdrop. Stash went for a
move but Briggs locked in the Styles Clash for the win. As soon as the bell
rang, Aaron Epic attacked Briggs and challenged him to a street fight at Ring Of
Horror II. Once Briggs got to his feet he accepted the challenge.
(10) FPWA Heavyweight champion “Superfan” Mark Zout (as Sting) fought the
Black Knight to a no contest.
Rod Steel was supposed to have taken on the champion but was not able to make it
to the building for the match. So the Black Knight petitioned FPWA officials for
the title match. The Knight seemed thrown off by Sting Zout and after being
beaten down, bailed to the floor to conference with Lady Luck. Once back in the
ring Knight stalled claiming Sting Zout pulled his hair and tights. Knight used
this time to get Sting Zout off his game and delivered a shot to the throat.
Knight delivered some chest chops but Sting Zout fired back with chops of his
own that sent the Knight back to the floor. When Knight came back to the ring
Sting Zout got too close and was hit in the groin. Knight talked to referee
Billy Dalton as Lady Luck choked out Sting Zout with her trusty crop. Knight
kept attacking Sting Zout's back with kicks. Knight hit a clothesline and a
kneedrop but didn't follow with a pin. Instead he followed with more punches and
a headbutt. Knight tried for a submission with a chinlock but Sting Zout fought
to his feet and hit three clotheslines but got two. Sting Zout hit a modified
bulldog headlock and a rolling cradle for two. Knight got to his feet and got in
a cheap shot to Sting Zout's throat. Stinger Zout fought back and hit the
Stinger Splash and the Scorpion Death Drop. Just as he was going to lock in the
Scorpion Deathlock, the Entourage hit the ring causing the match to be called a
no contest. Sting Zout fought them off but the numbers became too great.
Shockingly Sting Zout was saved by Torcher!?!?!? Torcher chased off the
Entourage and Knight with a kendo stick. After the match Sting Zout said at
“Ring of Horror II” he would defend the FPWA Heavyweight title against Torcher.
Before the event began the reigning FPWA Tag
Team champions the Psychedelics and Icee the Slushee drink mascot came out for
an interview. Morrison told the fans he was not fully recovered from a knee
injury but he was going to be in the title match against Seal and Black Knight.
The Psychedelics praised the Boy and Girl's club for welcoming FPWA to their
building. The Black Knight and Lady Luck came out and told the fans Seal would
not be here tonight and Knight would take on the champs by himself. Black Knight
even ripped the Icee mascot and told the fans they wouldn't believe who his
partner is. With that Icee clotheslined Morrison and removed his head to reveal
it was SEAL!! Knight knocked Hendrix to the mat. Seal told the fans he was tired
of the Psychedelics and called them the worst of the people he ever trained for
wrestling.
(1) Aaron Epic defeated Evan Starsmore.
Epic and Starsmore traded side headlock takeovers and armbars before Starsmore
drove Epic's face into the mat with a waistlock like move. Epic corner whipped
Starsmore and Starsmore went to float over, however Epic put his leg up and
Starsmore came down on it crotch first. Epic hit Starsmore with a snap suplex,
chest chops and kicks to the back before getting a two count. Starsmore got Epic
in a sunset flip but Epic rolled through and hit a Shining Wizard. Starsmore
recovered and hit Epic with what looked like an inverted DDT. Starsmore hit
clotheslines and chest chops before hitting an inverted Widow's Peak. Starsmore
went for another move but Epic blocked it and hit a fold up piledriver called
the Serial Driller.
(2) “The All American” Ben Hogan defeated former FPWA Heavyweight champion
The German Heartthrob.
Hogan started out fast with armdrags and a bodyslam before the Heartthrob
retreated to the floor. After stalling on the floor Hogan went out after the
Heartthrob. When they got back in the ring Heartthrob tried to take over but
Hogan fought back and Heartthrob went to the floor again. Hogan waited and when
Heartthrob returned he took over until Heartthrob poked Hogan in the eyes and
hit a clothesline. The Heartthrob took off his wrist tape and used it to choke
out Hogan. The Heartthrob took Hogan to the mat trying to gain victory via a
sleeper. When that didn't work the Heartthrob tossed Hogan to the floor and hit
some chest chops. Finally back in the ring, the Heartthrob delivered more
offense but couldn't pin Hogan or get a submission. Just when Hogan looked beat
he hit the Heartthrob with a swinging STO like move to win. After the bell the
Heartthrob wasn't done and jumped Hogan. Suicide ran out of the locker room and
hit the Heartthrob with a top rope high cross bodyblock.
The time came again for another edition of the infamous “Heater's Hot Seat.”
Heater spoke about tonight's match with Torcher. He said his guest tonight was
the most popular wrestler in FPWA, Heater!! But before he could begin the
interview, FPWA Heavyweight champion, “Superfan” Mark Zout (dressed as Carlito)
crashed the party. Carlito Zout said he was going to host Carlito's Cabana with
Heater as his guest. Heater said he was so confident about beating Torcher that
he gave his bodyguard, the Wolf the evening off. Carlito told Heater that he
found out from FPWA officials that tonight's match with Torcher was a lumberjack
match! Heater threw a temper tantrum before Carlito Zout spit his apple in
Heater's face.
(3) Pat Powers defeated “Hot Shot” Donnie York.
Powers took the fight right to York , using his strength advantage to muscle
York around the ring. York neutralized the advantage by attacking Powers' left
arm. Powers made it to the ropes and on the break raked York 's eyes. Powers hit
York with chest chops but Powers poked the eyes again and began chopping York 's
chest red. York fired back with chops of his own and dropped an elbow for a two
count. York went back to work on Powers' arm but Powers again got to the ropes.
Powers complained to the referee the fans were annoying him with their USA
chants. Powers went to drop an elbow on York but missed and York rolled him up
for two. Powers raked York 's eyes again and followed with forearms to the back.
Powers used the ropes and his boots to try and choke out York . Each time Powers
came close to be disqualified. York got a second wind and hit chest chops but
Powers stopped him but missed an elbow drop. York hit a corner splash and a
Russian legsweep before going up top. But when York came off he missed the elbow
drop. Powers threw York to the floor and bodyslammed him on the floor. York
fought back but Powers went to use a chair. The referee stopped him and York
from using the chair on each other and Powers hit a shoulder tackle. Powers
tossed York back in the ring and got the three count.
(4) “Supermodel” Amy Love (w/Bruce Steele) defeated Suicide.
Love came to the ring showing off supposed covers she has appeared on, too bad
she looks like nothing like Mishca Barton. Love told the fans her scheduled
opponent Lorelei Lee wasn't here so she chose Suicide to wrestle her. Love
appeared to take Suicide lightly and almost lost the match after a Suicide
corner splash, but she threw Suicide to the floor. Being the good citizen he is,
Steele back and chest chopped the youngster before tossing him back in to Love.
Love continued her offensive attack but couldn't pin Suicide, so she tried to
choke him out. Amy Love took her concentration off Suicide to strut her stuff
for the fans. When she got back to him, Suicide hit a DDT followed by a rolling
thunder legdrop for two. Suicide went to the top and hit a Frog Splash but
Steele pulled Suicide off. As Love distracted referee Richie Rich, Steele came
in the ring and hit Suicide with an F5. Love picked up the knocked out Suicide
and hit a double arm DDT win the match.
(5) FPWA Tag Team champions the Psychedelics (Morrison and Hendrix) defeated
Seal and the Black Knight (w/Lady Luck).
After his team's introduction, Seal bragged that they had already won the titles
and demanded referee Ron Henderson raise their hands. Their opponent's music
played twice and Henderson was close to calling the match a forfeit. The music
played a third time and Morrison and Hendrix came from behind and jumped their
opponents. Their offense didn't last long as Knight and Seal took over on
Hendrix for several minutes until Knight missed a corner splash. This allowed
Hendrix to tag out to Morrison. Morrison got in some punches but was tossed to
the floor where Seal was waiting. Knight distracted Henderson so Lady Luck could
hit Morrison in his injured right knee with her riding crop. Knight and Seal
made several tags attempting to obliterate Morrison's knee but couldn't get the
champions to end the match via submission. Somehow Morrison held on for what
seemed like an hour and never tapped out, despite being in extreme pain. Knight
made the mistake of bringing Morrison to his feet and Morrison hit a shoulder
tackle before tagging out to a well rested Hendrix. Hendrix put up a good fight
but Seal hit him with a Twist of Fate like move. As this went on, Morrison
limped his way over and tipped Knight off the apron, dropping Knight's face on
the ring apron. Seal had Hendrix set for a Razor's Edge but Morrison came in and
hit what looked like a flying forearms. This allowed Hendrix to pin Seal and
retain the titles.
(6) Erick Stevens and Sideshow defeated Punk N Disorderly (Pretty Fly and
Vindetta).
After attempting to choke out the music person, Sideshow told the fans WiKiD
didn't make it to the show. Sideshow revealed he found a suitable tag team
partner, Erick Stevens. Sideshow didn't fare too well as Pretty Fly armdragged
him several times before allowing Sideshow to tag in Stevens. Stevens
bodyslammed Fly but on an Irish whip, Vindetta made a blind tag and hit Stevens
with a knee. This sent Stevens and Sideshow to the floor to reorganize their
attack plan. Stevens came back in and hit Vindetta with forearms to the back and
began to dissect Vindetta's upper body. Sideshow and Stevens continued the
offensive attack for several minutes, making illegal tags in the process as Fly
kept trying to save his partner. Stevens tried to gain victory with a chinlock
but Vindetta got to his feet, only to be powerslammed by Stevens. Stevens hit
two knees to the mid section and followed it by delivering a Russian Legsweep to
Vindetta. Just when it looked like Vindetta was done for, he escaped Sideshow's
bear hug and hit a spear. This allowed Vindetta to tag out to Fly who came in
ready to end the match. Fly hit Stevens with a body block and a dropkick. Fly
followed with ten punches to the face and stinger splash. Stevens reversed a
corner whip but Fly floated over and had a pin. Sideshow broke it up and ended
up on the floor fighting with Vindetta. Stevens hit the Exploder and went to hit
the Axebomber Lariat but hit referee Richie Rich instead. While the referee was
knocked out Fly had Stevens pinned several times but there wasn't a count to be
had. Sideshow was still on the floor choking out Vindetta when Fly tried to save
his partner. Instead he got a fist full of chain to his jaw. Stevens was on his
feet and hit the Axebomber Lariat to win the match.
(7) “Miami Pound Machine” Rod Steel (w/Bruce Steele and “Supermodel” Amy Love)
defeated “Uptown” Frankie Capone to become the number one contender to the FPWA
Heavyweight championship.
Never short for words, Steel praised his colleagues' efforts including Bruce
Steele's upcoming WWE tryout next Monday night. Steel didn't seem too concerned
with Capone who took the fight to “the Miami Pound Machine.” Steel ended up on
the floor, being consoled by Steele and Love after doing the Flair Flop. Steel
ended up wearing part of Capone's ring gear as Steele distracted Capone on the
opposite side of the ring. Steel snuck in from behind and jumped Capone. It
turned into a three on one attack and Capone could do nothing but try and fight
back. Steel had Capone in a sleeper but Capone fought to his feet, only to be
kicked in the gut by Steel. Steel got too cocky and Capone got a small package
for two. Steel recovered and hit the “Sky High Slam” but to his shock Capone
kicked out at two. Steel went to the top but Capone dropped on the ropes and
sent Steel onto the turnbuckle crotch first. Capone climbed up and hit a
superplex. Capone had the match won after he hit the K5 but Steele put Rod
Steel's leg on the ropes. Capone went to argue with Steele and was hit by a
second “Sky High Slam.” Steele and Love joined in Rod Steel's victory
celebration as the fans booed loudly.
(8) In a lumberjack match, Torcher (w/Arson) defeated Heater (w/his entourage).
Punk N Disorderly, Pat Powers, Aaron Epic, Suicide, Hendrix, the Black Knight,
Lady Luck, Havok and “Superfan” Mark Zout served as lumberjacks. Shockingly
Heater took it to the monstrous Torcher early in the match. That was until
Torcher go to his feet and hit a clothesline. Heater fired back with a double
axhandle to the groin. Heater placed Torcher's ankle in between a folding chair
and slammed it with another chair. Heater kept Torcher on the mat, hitting the
ankle with everything he could get his hands on. To make things worse, Heater
tossed Torcher to the heels side of the ring for some abuse. Once back in the
ring Heater locked in a modified sharpshooter but didn't gain victory. Torcher
got to his feet and returned the favor by tossing Heater to the fan favorite's
side o the ring for some punishment. Once back in the ring Torcher hit Heater
with a DVD but got only two. Torcher laid in several chest chops to Heater's
shirtless upper body and followed with a bodyslam and an elbow drop. Torcher
went for a cover but Heater hit him with two Pele' kicks to get the 400 pounder
off his feet. Heater tried for a pin but Torcher got his foot on the bottom
rope. Heater tossed Torcher to the floor once again and a brawl between the
lumberjacks broke out. Torcher finally came back to the ring and Heater dropped
a second rope elbow. Heater hit a superkick as Torcher got to his feet and
followed with a legdrop but got two to his shock and dismay. Heater went up
again and hit Torcher with a double axhandle to the head. Heater tossed Torcher
to the floor and came off the top rope with a rolling dive. While the
lumberjacks brawled, Heater and Torcher returned to the ring. Heater came off
the top rope but Torcher caught him and delivered a Catatonic to get a two
count. Torcher hit a splash but pulled heater up before Richie Rich hit the mat
for the third time. He opted to deliver a second splash to gain the win.
(9) FPWA Florida State champion Dagon Briggs (w/Se7en) defeated Sedrick
Strong.
Strong came into this match with a bruised right eye suffered last night in hard
hitting contest in Tampa . Both men tried to get the better of the other in
several collar and elbow lockups but it was Briggs who countered a hiptoss with
one of his own and delivered a slam and armdrag. This sent Strong to the floor
to see if he was bleeding from his eye. Strong went after Se7en and Briggs went
to grab him, Strong dropped Briggs on the top rope. When Strong got in the ring
he was met by Briggs and armdrag takeover. Briggs went to work on Strong's left
shoulder and elbow with an armbar. Strong escaped by hitting Briggs with an STO.
As Strong recovered he used his boots and the ropes trying to choke Briggs out.
Strong hit a standing suplex but used an arrogant cover to get two. Strong tried
for a submission with a chinlock and a knee buried in Briggs' back. Briggs got
to his feet and hit Strong with a rolling DVD. Briggs slipped up when he got too
close to Strong who grabbed Briggs' shirt and sent Briggs face first into the
second turnbuckle. Strong went for a superplex but Briggs blocked it, sending
Strong into the ring. Strong recovered and met Briggs, coming off with the
superplex for a close three count. Strong went for a backbreaker but Briggs slid
out and got a sunset flip for two. Strong recovered and hit a DVD but again
covered arrogantly and got two. Briggs got to his feet and hit a flying forearm.
However his corer splash missed Strong and got referee Ron Henderson instead.
Strong grabbed the title belt and appeared to knock out the champion but Briggs
kicked out of the pin before three. Strong got too confident again and this time
he paid as Briggs hit a Styles Clash to retain the championship.
(10) FPWA Heavyweight champion “Superfan” Mark Zout defeated Bruce Steele
(w/Rod Steel and “Supermodel” Amy Love.)
Steel bragged about being the number one contender to Mark Zout's title and said
he was ready to face Steele on the next show. Steele then physically removed
Richie Rich from the ring and said Billy Dalton would be the referee of the
match. The deck clearly seemed stacked against Carlito Zout. However Zout spit
the apple in Steele's face and got in two armdrags. As Steele was on the floor,
Rod Steel distracted Zout and dropped him on the top rope. Steele hit a modified
TKO and continued the assault, sending Zout's apple over to the music table.
Steele seemed to be toying with Zout as the referee and Love “argued” on the
apron, Steele choked out Zout. Next Steele sent Zout to the floor so Rod could
get in some shots. Once back in the ring, Steele couldn't get a three count as
Zout fought back. Steele told the fans they were watching the “Next Big Thing”
in WWE and then chopped Carlito in the chest. Steele hit Zout with a Davey Boy
style suplex. Steele went for a corner splash but Zout got a foot up and went
for a double axhandle, only to be powerslammed by Steele. Steele clamped on an
abdominal stretch with some extra help from Love. Zout was able to escape with a
hiptoss but walked right into a back suplex for two. Carlito Zout fought back
but Steele hit a DDT for two. Steele got cockier by the moment, hitting Zout
with the “How ‘Bout That” but once again only getting a two count. Zout fought
back and hit Steele with an inverted DDT. Both men fought to their feet but
Carlito Zout was the one hitting the punches and clotheslines. Steele fought out
of a pin and hit the “Deep Dickin” but got TWO. Steele hit Zout with the Big
Dump but Zout hit an elbow to the jaw at the same time. Steele went for a pin
with both feet on the ropes but Billy Dalton told him to take his feet off the
ropes. As Steele argued with Dalton , Zout snuck up and schoolboyed Steele,
using both of his feet on the bottom rope. After the match, Rod Steele hit Zout
with a Sky High Slam and laid the title belt across the champion's chest.
(1) 'German Heartthrob' Amir defeated Rip
Malibu.
Malibu came out ready to fight but Amir put a stop to that using every dirty
trick he could. Amir went to work on Malibu's neck with the German claw. Malibu
fought out and hit an Alabama slam to start things even. Malibu went to finish
Amir with chest chops, elbows and a second rope clothesline. Just when Malibu
thought he was the winner, Amir hit him with a knee to the back and the
Rammstein drop.
Everyone least favorite talk show personality Heater came to the ring for
“Heater's Hot Seat.” Heater said he had lots on his mind but most important to
him was the chance to thank his bodyguard Torcher for his efforts at the last
FPWA event. Torcher came to the ring to discuss his match with FPWA Heavyweight
champion “Superfan” Mark Zout. Heater felt the best way to congratulate Torcher
was to fire him. Torcher said he quit and attacked Heater but before Torcher
could do any further damage, the huge Wolf came out and pulled Heater to safety.
(2) 'Hot Ass' Amy Love and Legion Cage defeated the Powers of Pat (Pat Powers
and Pat McGroin.)
The Pats came expecting Love and another partner and were thrown off by the
faster opponent Cage and took several chances to retreat to the floor to
reorganize. Love tagged in and held her own with the Pats getting Powers down
for a two count. Cage tagged back in and went to work on Powers' left arm but
that was cut short by a right handed punch. McGroin came in and traded chest
chops with Cage but a boot to the face set the Pats in control of the match for
several minutes. Amy Love finally tagged back into the match and walked right
into an assault by the Pats on her ribs. Love survived the attack and tagged out
to Cage who fought off the Pats but ended up running into referee Richie Rich.
Just when the Pats thought they were going to finish off Love, a woman from
ringside later identified as wrestler Amy Sue, ran in and attacked the Pats.
After Amy Sue beat down the Pats, Cage slid in and covered Powers for the win.
(3) “Untouchable” Leon Scott (w/Tiziana) defeated The Black Knight (w/Lady
Luck.)
Ricky Romeo was supposed to have been Scott's opponent and his manager Miss
Bambi came to the ring to inform Scott of Romeo's injury. However she brought a
substitute wrestler, the Black Knight! Scott immediately dropped the Russian
chain stipulation for his scheduled match with Romeo and it became a normal
wrestling match. Scott seemed stunned the Knight was his opponent and was on the
defensive for several minutes until he was able to gain control and lock the
Knight in a reverse chinlock. The Knight fought back and hit Scott with a second
turnbuckle splash but got two. Scott reversed an Irish whip and hit a high knee
but got two. Knight hit Scott with the Spinebuster but Tiziana distracted the
referee as Scott picked up the Russian chain from his corner and clocked the
Knight square in the jaw. Scott tossed the chain to Bambi and Lady Luck before
covering the Knight for the victory.
The FPWA Heavyweight champion “Superfan” Mark Zout made his way to the ring for
a celebration of his title win at the last FPWA event. Zout thanked his family
and girlfriend for their support. Then to the shock of all in attendance, Zout
bought his girlfriend Angie into the ring and proposed to her, needless to say
she accepted.
As intermission ended the familiar music of the Cuban Heavyweight champion the
Cuban Assassin played. Cuban explained that due to a prior commitment “the
Franchise” Shane Douglas was not in attendance and he was going to face Douglas'
scheduled opponent. To his shock, Cuban's tag team partner The Navy Seal came to
the ring. Seal said he understood that Douglas wasn't in the building and he
wanted to have a friendly match with Cuban. Cuban agreed that their friendship
would survive. As Seal hugged Cuban's manager Fantasy, Cuban wound up and
tattooed Seal in the back of the head.
(4) Dagon Briggs won the 20 Man Gauntlet to become the FIRST FPWA Florida
State Championship.
The final four people in the match were Dagon Briggs, Amy Love, Leon Scott and
Ricky Romeo. Romeo immediately got into it with Scott but Scott tossed him out
of the ring. Briggs then eliminated Scott to make the final matchup Dagon Briggs
vs. Amy Love. Love hit Briggs with everything she had in her arsenal but in the
end Briggs hit an acecrusher to win the match.
(5) In a number one contender match, Bruce Steele defeated Mideon.
Before the match Steele took the house mic and berated Mideon about him not
being as hungry as Steele. Steele then jumped Mideon and tried to take control
but Mideon fired back with several offensive moves sending Steele to the floor
to regroup. Mideon kept on the offensive until Steele was able to take the three
hundred pounder off his feet. Steele tried to wear down Mideon and went for his
“Money Shot” but Mideon moved out of the way of Steele's corner splash. Mideon
went to finish off Steele but walked into the “Steele Curtain.” Steele covered
Mideon and became the number one contender to the FPWA Heavyweight title on
April 8th, no matter who wins the main event.
(6) In a match to crown the first ever FPWA Tag Team champions, The Psychedelics
(James Morrison and James Hendrix) defeated Punk and Disorderly (Pretty Fly and
Vindetta.)
Fly and Vindetta were able to isolate Hendrix early on and attack his left leg
for several minutes. Hendrix didn't allow himself to be pinned and he made the
tag to Morrison who went to work on Vindetta's left arm. Morrison's offense
didn't last long as Vindetta was able to tag out to Fly. Fly and Morrison traded
offensive moves but Fly missed a second rope leg drop which allowed Morrison to
tag in Hendrix. Hendrix hit Fly with a standing suplex and backbreaker. Morrison
tagged back in and he and Hendrix hit Fly with double elbows and legdrops.
Morrison went for a dropkick but Fly grabbed the top rope and Morrison hit the
mat back first. Fly tagged out to Vindetta who walked into a spinning
neckbreaker. Vindetta recovered and tagged Fly in just before hitting Morrison
with an enziguri. Fly kept on the offensive and made several tags to Vindetta
but neither were able to keep Morrison pinned. Morrison made it to the corner
and tagged in Hendrix; they then hit Vindetta with “the One Bad Trip” but didn't
get three. Vindetta made the tag to Fly who hit Morrison with a dropkick for
two. Morrison tagged out to Hendrix who walked right into a dropkick from Fly.
Fly hit a clothesline and went to the top rope but Hendrix caught him and came
off with a superplex. Both men struggled to their corners to make the tag out
but Vindetta made it in first. Morrison ended up sparring in a neutral corner
with Fly who climbed up and threw several fists before Morrison grabbed both
legs and dropped Fly face first on the top turnbuckle. As Vindetta tried to
finish off Hendrix, Morrison hit Fly with a baseball slide sending Fly to the
floor. Hendrix waist locked Vindetta and Morrison climbed to the top rope and
hit a “Super Bad Trip” to win the match and the tag team titles.
(7) Navy Seal defeated Cuban Assassin (w/Fantasy) via DQ.
Cuban tried to jump start the match by sucker punching Seal but Seal was ready
and hiptossed Cuban several times before Cuban retreated to the floor to confer
with Fantasy. The meeting worked as Cuban went to work on Seal's left arm but
Seal reversed and attacked Cuban's left arm. Cuban countered out and began to
wear down Seal, helped by some interference from Fantasy. Seal took a beating
for several minutes but the fans chants of USA kept him energized enough to keep
kicking out of every pin attempt made by Cuban. Cuban tried to get a submission
via the figure four leglock but Seal wouldn't submit and actually reversed the
hold but Cuban made it to the ropes before submitting. Both men made it to their
feet but Seal tried to go back to work on Cuban's leg but Cuban kicked him in
the face. Cuban went for a backslide but Seal reversed and got a two count. Seal
laid in several right hands and locked Cuban in a sleeper but Cuban reversed
into a sleeper hold of his own. Both men reversed the sleeper but when Seal
looked like he had Cuban beat, Fantasy slid in and hit Seal in the head. The
referee called for a DQ. Just as Fantasy and Cuban were close to beating Seal
unconscious, Mideon came out to save Seal. Cuban took the mic and challenged
Seal and Mideon to a match on April 8th against himself and Shane Douglas. Seal
accepted the challenge.
(8) In a falls count anywhere match, FPWA Heavyweight Champion "Superfan"
Mark Zout as “Y2J” Chris Jericho defeated Torcher.
Torcher tried to use his four hundred pound frame to manhandle Zout but Zout
took him off his feet and attacked the left leg. After going to the floor,
Torcher went under the ring and grabbed several weapons he placed there earlier
in the evening. Zout slid outside and used a broom to try and choke out Torcher
but Torcher found a road sign and he hit Zout in the face. Torcher grabbed a
garbage can and held it over his head ready to hit Zout, but Zout kicked him in
the stomach. The can fell on top of Torcher's head, so Zout kicked him in it
several times. One of the garbage can shots busted open Torcher's forehead. As
Zout readied for another shot, Torcher grabbed the can and hit Zout in the head
with the can. Zout fought back and used a crutch to choke Torcher. As Zout
grabbed a garbage can lid, Torcher grabbed the road sign and they tried to hit
each other. Zout hit Torcher in the gut with the garbage can lid and then hit
him with the road sign. Back in the ring, Zout tried to go for the Walls of
Jericho but Torcher countered out. Torcher hit Zout with a corner splash and
locked in a chinlock as Heater and the Wolf came to ringside for a closer look.
Zout recovered as went for a Lionsault but Heater got on the ring apron and went
to hit Zout but Zout punched him in the face. Torcher took advantage of the
distraction and backed Zout into a corner. Torcher climbed to the second rope
and laid several right hands but Zout grabbed both legs and came out of the
corner hitting Torcher with an Alabama Slam for the three count. Torcher jumped
Zout after the bell and went to use his flame thrower on Zout but a fan stopped
him. With Torcher's back turned, Heater and the Wolf attacked and fought with
Torcher all the way to the locker room area.
Match One: “Hot Ass” Amy Love defeated OG
Scarface (With Ana Mosity)& Bo Tayvian (with The Psychedelics) in a three way
dance.
Early on it seemed like Tayvian and Amy had an alliance as they worked to beat
down Scarface but it quickly dissolved once a pin attempt was made. Scarface was
smart and dropped to the floor as Amy and Tayvian beat each other up for several
minutes but made his presence felt with two super stiff kicks to Tayvian’s back.
Amy went to the floor and attacked Ana who was trying to give Scarface a set of
brass knuckles. While referee Billy Dalton was occupied with Ana, Amy used the
knuckles to knock out Scarface and get the win.
Heater’s Hot Seat with Special Guest MIDEON!!!
Heater began the night talking about last month’s event. He then introduced
former WWE superstar Mideon. Heater went to ask a question but walked away from
Mideon who put him in a choke hold. Mideon told the fans and the locker room he
was not in a good mood and he would take it out on his opponent tonight. After
Mideon released Heater from the choke, Heater announced he was ready to run the
gauntlet.
Match Two: Halloween Masked Man Gauntlet match as Heater runs the
Gauntlet!!
Appearing in the masked gauntlet were: El Nino, Ice Dragon, BSC, Rip Malibu (who
left his mask on the beach,) the Mexican Nightmare and somehow Heater defeated
all of them with out help from Torcher. Actually that was a lie Torcher beat on
opponents any chance he could and in the end paid off the Nightmare who laid
down for Heater. Torcher went to celebrate his plan but the Nightmare removed
his mask to reveal he was MARK ZOUT who beat up both men and ran away with the
cash.
Match Three: Barney Rumble defeated Demetric Malloy.
Rumble had control of the match until he went to the top rope for a moonsault.
Malloy stopped him and countered with a move of his own. Malloy took the fight
to the veteran Rumble countering a suplex with a tornado DDT. But when Malloy
went for the win a second rope fist drop backfired and Rumble delivered a top
rope elbow to win.
Match Four: Torcher (with Heater) defeated DJ Arnold.
Arnold tried every trick in his jack-o-lantern (including bodyslamming) to beat
the near 400 pound Torcher but any time he had a pin Torcher powered out of it.
Torcher hit a consecutive splashes but it took a Catatonic to beat Arnold.
Match Five: Semi-Final match of FPWA Tag Team Title Tournament
The Psychedelics (James Morrison/Jerome Hendrix) defeated the Powers of Pat
(Pat Powers/Pat McGroin)
The fan favorite Psychedelics came with an American flag and had total control
over their Canadian opponents until a small distraction allowed the Pats to beat
on Hendrix for several grueling minutes. Hendrix finally got a break and tagged
in a well rested Morrison but he too got attacked by the hard hitting Pats.
Morrison survived the chest chopping onslaught but an Irish Whip ended up
hitting referee Billy Dalton instead of the corner. The Pats tried some sneaky
tricks while Dalton was down but it backfired as both men got rolled up for the
pin.
Match Six: Semi-Final match of FPWA Tag Team Title Tournament
Pretty Fly &Vindetta defeated Eddie Taurus & Luther “Bodybag” Jackson.
During the match the Psychedelics came out to scout their next opponents. Taurus
and Jackson got control by attacking Fly and didn’t seem like they would ever
let Vindetta into the bout. Fly was able to hit the Fly Trap and tag in Vindetta
but he ended up taking a beating from both Taurus and Jackson for several
minutes as Fly recovered in the corner. Vindetta got some distance from his
opponents and got Fly back into the match. Fly took the fight to Jackson who was
pinned by Fly after a double team move. After the bout Fly and Vindetta had a
confrontation with the Psychedelics.
Match Seven: “Untouchable” Leon Scott (w/Tiziana) defeated “Latin
Sensation” Ricky Romeo (w/Bambi)
This match came about after Scott cost Romeo his chance to win the FPWA title at
the “Feeling the Heat” event. Both men seemed like they came to fight but a mat
wrestling match broke out. Romeo had control until Scott made it into a fight
with some help from Tiziana on the floor. Anytime Romeo got on the offensive
Scott somehow got control back in his favor. Romeo was able to hit a sitout
pedigree and a DDT but Scott kicked out of the pin attempt. Scott threw Romeo
out to the floor but his baseball slide missed and Romeo hit several right hands
but Scott hit a clothesline. The fight continued back into the ring where Romeo
hit his patented Spinebuster followed by a sitout Spinebuster. Scott kicked out
and while he had Romeo in trouble Bambi distracted Scott and referee Jim Bragg.
Tiziana got in the ring and confronted Bambi who then was clotheslined by Scott.
Romeo grabbed a chain and hit Scott with it. Tiziana kept Romeo and Bragg
distracted long enough for Scott to come from behind and school boy Romeo for
the pin.
Match Eight: Prime Evil & BoneZ the Cutthroat defeated “Miami Pound
Machine” Rod Steel, Bruce Steele & Erick Stevens.
Before the match Steel ran his mouth about last month’s bounty laid out on Prime
Evil by Heater. Evil and BoneZ ran into the match head on and BoneZ ended up
being on the defensive for several minutes. Anytime Evil was close to tagging in
Stevens, Steel and Steele distracted the referee. Evil was finally able to tag
in and had to take on all three men. Stevens had things in total control but
Evil small packaged Stevens for the win. The post mach celebration was cut short
as the losing team was joined by Heater and Torcher who watched on as trio beat
Evil senseless. It appeared Heater was not going to pay the bounty and Steele
attacked Heater.
Match Nine: Dagon Briggs (w/Se7en) defeated Mideon in a Ring of Horror
match.
Briggs and Se7en (wearing angels wings) came dressed to trick or treat and gave
the kids around ringside some candy. Mideon wasn’t in the Halloween mood and was
kept of this game by Briggs early on. Mideon used every dirty trick and then
some to get control of the bout but he couldn’t keep Briggs down for the pin.
Briggs finally stopped Mideon’s momentum with a Spinebuster. Briggs’ second wind
allowed him to counter Mideon’s slop drop and hit an acecrusher to get the huge
upset win.
Match Ten: the Undertaker AKA “Superfan” Mark Zout (with a guy carrying
an urn) became FPWA Heavyweight Champion by defeating “German Heartthrob” Amir.
Amir seemed to be stunned by the character Zout chose for the match. Amir got
control of the match but couldn’t keep Taker/Zout pinned as the power of the urn
kept Taker/Zout alive. Amir went to work on Taker/Zout’s left arm and that
seemed to slow down Taker/Zout. Zout reversed an Irish whip but it ended up
sending Amir into Referee Jim Bragg. Both Ron Hutchinson and Billy Dalton came
out to take over the officiating but they too became casualties of the carnage.
In the scuffles Amir got control of the match once again but Taker/Zout hit a
chokeslam. After Dalton got knocked out in the ring, Amir beat up the guy
holding the urn and attempted to hit Taker/Zout with it but the urn missed the
mark. Taker/Zout hit the tombstone piledriver to get the win. Torcher came out
and confronted Taker/Zout demanding a title match. Matchmaker Ken Ward came out
and declined the challenge laid out by Torcher but Torcher took him to the back
for some additional negotiating that seemed to work and on December 11th the
title would be on the line.
